:( Sorry about your inconvenience. I spoke to the gallery owner and she said they are transitioning the artwork in preparation for a show opening next week (Thurs). Yes, it is always good to call first. The reception for the show is on the 17th, 1-4pm. PS. In the future, you can ring the doorbell, and the owner will let you the art work that is there.
Thank you for visiting my blog. I hope you enjoy your visit. These are some of my favorite paintings. I recently decided to include inspirational quotes from time to time.
Lynne is an abstract artist self-taught in oils. She has been greatly influenced by impressionist and abstract artists and has enjoyed paintings in oils for over a decade. Lynne is inspired by the beauty of nature and spirituality and brings this to life in her paintings with her natural sense of color, texture and style.

I suppose that the 'net leaves something to be desired in regards to viewing art.
I would be willing to say there is more to this "visual" piece than can be discerned by a computer monitor.
You have a point, especially on this one. The picture does not capture the textures and contrast in a way that does it justice.
OK, when is the private showing? How much is the price of admission? :-)
Actually, this piece is at the Mary Karam Gallery - and admission is free!
Aarrrgh!!! The gallery was closed today. Note to self: CALL first....
