Which one of the impressionists would you say has been a greater influence upon your work?
I saw the works of Renoir at the Kimball in Fort Worth a few years ago. I stood memorized while viewing "Girl with a Watering Can". It is amazing the vision he had in his work.
Also of interest was "Pink and Blue Or, the Cahen D'Anvers Girls" The misery of the girls standing for extended periods of time in woolen dresses comes through!
I love your work. (I discovered you from a post on one of Moggy's blogs.) I love the blues and greens and red/orange/yellow combinations. This cross is really pretty. It reminds me of one from a retreat a couple years ago. Thanks for sharing your work!
Thank you for visiting my blog. I hope you enjoy your visit. These are some of my favorite paintings. I recently decided to include inspirational quotes from time to time.
Lynne is an abstract artist self-taught in oils. She has been greatly influenced by impressionist and abstract artists and has enjoyed paintings in oils for over a decade. Lynne is inspired by the beauty of nature and spirituality and brings this to life in her paintings with her natural sense of color, texture and style.

Monet is my favorite, who has influenced me the most. I love his color and style. Renoir is a great artist - I appreciate his work as well.
